Singer CSP1 Steam Press

The Singer CSP1 steam press is of a more compact design than the MSP7. The ironing board is approx. 10cm (4") narrower than the other model although the depth is the same. The major difference is that the CSP1 can be used in two ways: either 'horizontally' in the conventional manner for most every day pressing jobs or 'vertically'.

Another plus point is that it tucks neatly away into a tiny space. When locked into it's 'vertical' position it occupies less than one square foot of floor space. The CSP1 shown to the left is in the conventional 'horizontal' pressing position. In spite of it's compact size, the CSP1 has all the features necessary for high quality steam pressing, including a 'burst of steam' lever, steam and temperature controls.

In it's alternative 'vertical' pressing position, the CSP1 allows for longer items to be fed through piece by piece. At approx. 26cm. (10¼") the narrower measurement of the ironing board is exactly the same as the MSP7. In the 'vertical' position, the CSP1 stores away in less than 1sq. ft. of floor space.
